Good morning, many of us are getting ready to face the crowds at the grocery stores and markets, prepping for the big day. Turkey day.
I retrieved a large frozen bird from the freezer (I am sure it was from Christmas 2021), and he is thawing in the sink. I will throw him in the fridge today and get pull him out Sunday night to get him decorated for his journey into a warm oven.
On the menu for Monday Oct 10th,
Roast Turkey
Savoury Herb Gravy
Pumpkin tarts and Apple crumble
Scalloped Potatoes
Turnip and Carrots
Roasted Brussel sprouts and Carrots.
You guessed it, I am using the best Turkey dinner collection seasonings and dinner will be a snap. I also love that I can use the steamers in the microwave to save room in the oven for that big, beautiful bird.
