Cooking for one.

I have to admit that meal prep and cooking for one has always been a challenge for me.  I am sure I am not the only one and I am sure others will say that cooking for a group is challenging, with picky eaters and dietary restrictions, be thankful that you don't have that.

I am thankful and I am very thankful for Epicure products, our pre package meal solutions really do take the guess work out of what's for dinner tonight.

I am learning how to cut the packages in half and make two servings opposed to 4.  Buying smaller cans is quite often more expensive than buying in bulk, but there is the waste factor.  I have been doing quite a bit of research on products that I can freeze or can for future use.  And then there is the science of meal prep and maybe I don't make the same meal that week but choose a meal that uses similar ingredients.

I have recently cancelled my WW membership because I have had success with intermittent fasting in the last 9 months.  Epicure starts it's Epic Challenge May 9th 2022 which takes intermittent fasting into consideration.  It is not as extreme as I was doing but it still gives the liver a 4-5 hours break between meals with no snacking.  I think I am going to give this program a try for the next 3 months and see if I can continue on my weight loss healthy eating journey.

Ok so back to meal prep and cooking for one, I am going to do a series of classes on this topic starting Aug 2022.  If your interested in learning more stay tuned.
